REFRIGERATION AIR DRYERS The SECOTEC® System In developing the SECOTEC dryer range, KAESER's goal was to produce a system that consumed minimal energy and which would provide optimal reliability and user friendliness. The resulting SECOTEC system from KAESER KOMPRESSOREN fulfils all of these requirements and, in contrast to most refrigeration drying systems, uses a highly efficient cycling system: SECOTEC Control. Therefore, the dryer's refrigeration circuit consumes power only when necessary. Designed and built by KAESER As one of the world's foremost compressed air system providers and manufacturers, KAESER ensures that every SECOTEC dryer provides exceptional performance. Each unit is built in accordance with the very highest quality standards at the KAESER Gera plant and undergoes stringent quality inspection as per KAESER's Quality Management System. TG -TI SERIES REFRIGERATED TYPE Energy-saving dryers from Kaeser Kompressoren enable significant savings all day, every day. For example, at 40 % airflow they consume only 43 % of their nominal energy requirement. This saves several thousand Euros in energy costs compared with conventional dryers. SUPER EFFICIENT REFRIGERANT COMPRESSOR The newly developed refrigerant compressor is able to regulate the volume of refrigerant that circulates within the refrigeration circuit in such a way that it also reduces the compressor's power consumption. Electrical power is therefore consumed only when actually drying air. INDUSTRIAL QUALITY CONTROL CABINET Every KAESER energy-saving dryer is EN 60204-1 compliant and is tested for electromagnetic compatibility in accordance with applicable EMC standards. The outstanding drying results are aided by generous quantities of KAESER's high quality 'SIGMA Dry' desiccant, as only a fraction of the material's initial load is used. Consequently, this means that minimal quantities of purge air are required for desiccant regeneration, even after longer than average periods of operation. In addition, long cycle periods reduce the number of flow optimised components required for reliable, integrated performance, such as KAESER's pre- and after-filters. Made from activated aluminium oxide, the desiccant has an exceptionally high adsorption capacity and its regeneration capability provides sustained low-pressure dew point performance with minimal pressure loss. The desiccant is also waterproof and mechanically stable, which makes it particularly suitable for long periods of operation. Furthermore, specific pellet sizes are available to ensure optimal performance of flow diffusers and sieve plates.
